The Locust Valley Central School District is proud to announce that Locust Valley High School seniors Emily Barosin and Sabrina Raichoudhury have been selected as alternates for the NYSSMA All-State Conference. This year’s conference will be held virtually from Dec. 3-5.

These talented student musicians were chosen based on their outstanding vocal performances at the NYSSMA All-State Solo Festival in Spring of 2019. As alternates, they will be prepared to step in should another musician have to step down.

Emily is a member of the Concert Chorale, Chamber Singers, and Locust Valley Jesters. She was selected as a Soprano II alternate.

Sabrina is a member of the Concert Chorale, Chamber Singers, String Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra and a member of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra Chorus program. She was selected as an Alto I alternate.

" We are proud of Emily and Sabrina for being recognized in this prestigious festival," said AnnMarie Buonaspina, Locust Valley Central School District Subject Matter Coordinator for Music. "These student musicians have worked hard and their talents have been recognized by the NYSSMA organization.."

Congratulations to Emily and Sabrina on this impressive achievement!
