The Locust Valley Central School District Board of Education held its reorganization meeting on July 14, unanimously electing Brian T. Nolan as President and Margaret Marchand as Vice President for the 2020-21 school year. Newly elected Board of Education trustee Lauren Themis was sworn in for a three-year term, as were reelected trustees Shawn C. Steele and John Del Tatto Jr.

During the meeting, Mr. Nolan thanked Jennifer Maselli for her service to the Board of Education as a trustee and past president. Ms. Maselli resigned from her position on the Board on July 14. The Board will discuss filling her position according to New York School Boards Association guidelines, and information regarding that vacant seat will be shared with the community soon.

Congratulations to the Board of Education officers and trustees. The next regular meeting of the Board of Education will take place on Aug. 18 and will be livestreamed, accessible via a link posted to the website on that day.
