Important Budget Vote Update:
Governor Cuomo has extended the deadline for mail-in ballots for the 2020-21 School Budget Vote and Election of Board of Education Trustees. Ballots mailed to the district must now be received by Tuesday, June 16 at 5 p.m. Ballots delivered to the district in person, including those placed in the mailbox at the administration building, must still arrive by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.
This year's Budget Vote and Election of Board of Education Trustees is by absentee ballot. Ballots were mailed in a timely manner, yet we have heard from some residents that their post office has not yet delivered the ballot to them. If you have not received an absentee ballot by now, please contact the District Clerk at 277-5007 to arrange a time to pick one up. All ballots must be physically received by the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9. Any ballots received after that time will not be counted as per New York State.
To ensure that your vote counts, we encourage you to drop your ballot off in the locked mailbox in front of the administration building at 22 Horse Hollow Rd., Locust Valley.
