Natural Disasters

 

Directions:  There are six required parts to this project.  They are:

 

  1. Students will read a book about natural disasters with their language arts teacher.
  2. Students will watch the film "Eyewitness-Natural Disasters" and complete the form with the 23 Natural Disasters.
  3. Each student will choose one assignment from the Natural Disaster General Knowledge page.  Students will complete the chosen assignment and then fill in the rubric to evaluate their work on this individual piece.
  4. Each student will choose one assignment from the Natural Disaster Project page.  Students will complete the chosen project and then fill in the rubric to evaluate their work on this individual piece.
  5. Each student will choose one assignment from the Natural Disaster Essential Question page.  Students will complete the chosen question and then fill in the rubric to evaluate their work on this individual piece.
  6. Students will answer the BLOG question on Natural Disasters.

 

 

The libraries in the middle school as well as the public libraries in both Bayville and Locust Valley have pulled books that deal with Natural Disasters.  Library Catalog
