Module 1-2

Graphing Sequences:

Graphing Sequences: Always use a line graph to show sequences or patterns. Use the term and term number as your coordinates. (x, y).

Always start at coordinates (0,0) this is the origin of any coordinate graph.
We move horizontally (width) first the amount equal to x. Then we move vertically (up or down) the amount equal to y.

The x-axis is the term number. So term number = x
The y-axis is the term. term = y

Make sure your scale interval is at equal intervals.

Term number (x) Term (y)
1 3
2 5
3 7
4 9
20 41
