Factors

A **factor **is
a number that divides evenly into a target number. Two factors multiply
to yield a target product.

Every number has a limited number of factors.

Example: The factors of 36 are: {1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 36}

When listing all the factors of a number begin with 1 times that number and leave space in between.

Example: Factors of 36: (1, 36)

Next check if 2 is a factor, if so write that and its other factor at opposite ends.

(1, 2, 18, 36)
