Timothy Peguillan’s singing abilities impressed New York State School Music Association judges last spring, earning him the honor of being named an All-State musician and invited to perform with the All-State Mixed Chorus at the NYSSMA 84th Annual Winter Conference in Rochester from Dec. 5-8.

Timothy performed at NYSSMA Level 6 in voice, flute and piano. A tenor, he sings in the high school chorus and chamber chorus, and plays in the band and jazz band. He is a member of the Locust Valley High School Jesters and performs in the school’s dramas and musicals.

Music subject matter coordinator Marc Yavoski said that this student-musician has worked hard for this honor. “Timothy is a true triple-threat performer who excels on the stage as a singer, dancer and actor,” he said. “He will represent Locust Valley well in this prestigious conference.”

Congratulations, Timothy, and best of luck at the NYSSMA conference!
