The artwork of two students at LVI was entered in the Huntington Arts Council’s “Nightmare on Main Street,” the first-ever juried student art show at the HAC Main Street Petite Gallery in Huntington, N.Y.

Allowed to submit only two pieces of student artwork, Locust Valley art teacher Dana Ettinger chose works by Joseph Kuebler and Claire Hogan to be juried for the event. Ms. Ettinger said that Joseph and Claire both created original pieces that were both creative and exceptional. “Joseph and Claire are both superb artists and deserved to be recognized in this wonderful art show,” she remarked.

Joseph’s artwork was chosen by the Huntington Arts Council to move on to the exhibit. The district congratulates both students on having their work selected for submission.
