The Locust Valley High School literary magazine, Perspective, held the first annual Coffee House, a night of acoustic music and poetry readings in the mini-theater. Students performed on guitar, vocals, and read original writings. Perspective Advisor Amy Rosenbaum, who helped coordinate the event, said the event was a great success and the students and staff are already looking forward to the second annual Coffee House!

Ms. Rosenbaum said the event was also meant to promote awareness of Perspective Literary Magazine. "Spotlight Night provided an opportunity for our school's budding musicians, song writers, and poets to perform in front of an audience of peers, teachers, and parents."
