Locust Valley High School Basketball Coach Tim Lomot was named Conference ABC-V Coach of the Year by the Nassau County High School Basketball Association. Coach Lomot was recognized for his team’s outstanding performance during the 2010 season. The Locust Valley Boys Varsity Basketball team had a league record of 8-2 and they were co-conference champions.

“We are proud of Tim Lomot, not only for the successful team that he created this year, but more importantly for his ability to gel a group of young athletes to play as one,” stated Mark Dantuono, Locust Valley Central School District Director of Physical Education, Health, and Athletics. “They played as a team and cared about each other on and off the field. That stems from Coach Lomot’s leadership skills.”

Congratulations to Coach Lomot and the entire Boys Varsity Basketball team.
