The Class of 2017 raised $4,400 during the first ever Color Run, bringing students, faculty and families together for fun and fundraising. The funds will be used to support the junior class and offset the cost of the prom.

The color run, in which runners are showered with various colors of powder at different points during their race, included the sale of the color packets, an auction and snack concession. The event brought 150 participants to the high school field on a beautiful Saturday morning.

Juniors Isabella Charon and Victoria Oxer were instrumental in getting the donations for the auction. Junior Patrick Halpin was the lead runner for both races, which included a fun run for younger participants and a 5K for more seasoned runners.

Junior John Cote spearheaded the fundraising efforts in conjunction with Class Advisors Lara Cummo and Jamie Cherkis.
