The boys varsity soccer team played hard to win it's opening pre-season tournament, The Mineola Mustang Cup. The team played to a 2-2 regulation tie in the semi-final game against Mineola, followed by two scoreless overtimes. Ultimately the Falcons won 4-3 in a shootout as senior goalie Billy Mullen made an outstanding diving save on the final penalty kick to seal the victory. The Falcons faced Oyster Bay in the final and jumped to an early 2-0 lead at halftime. They added two more in the second half to earn the title.

“This team is made up of talented athletes with great character which was demonstrated throughout the weekend,” said coach Joseph Lee.
