Students at Ann MacArthur and Bayville Primary Schools celebrated the 100th Day of school with songs, prizes, and mathematical fun! As part of the annual event, students participated in activities that encouraged them to count to the number 100, sing about numbers, and use math skills to estimate how many items were in a jar.

The events included wearing glasses shaped like the number 100, handing out phony one hundred dollar bills, and recognizing the one hundredth student to enter the building. It is a day that incorporates a lot of fun with the mathematical skills the students in Kindergarten through second grade are learning.
