The Locust Valley Intermediate School Chorus and the Locust Valley High School cheerleaders took their shows on the road, performing songs and cheers from their winter concert for the residents of Glen Cove Nursing Home. Feet were tapping to the beat - the feet of the children performing and those of the audience!

In this two part event, the LVI Chorus visited the nursing home one day and the cheerleaders perfomed at the home the next day, spreading the cheer out for the elderly residents who smiled thorugh both performances.

This was a wonderful opportunity for the students in many ways. They gained experience performing as well as gaining the satisfaction of providing holiday cheer for others. It was also a joyous experience for the residents of Glen Cove Nursing Home as they had a live concert for the holidays.
