Student musicians proved that practice makes perfect during their performances at the annual spring concerts. From talented bands and orchestras to beautiful vocals, the performers brought joy to their parents and other audience members as they shared the sounds of classics and modern pieces.

Meeting before and after school and practicing on their own at home helped the students master their musical numbers. Dedicated music teachers also devoted time to making sure everyone was performance ready.

At the high school concert, a special tribute to Curriculum Coordinator William Margiotta left teary eyes throughout the auditorium. Mr. Margiotta is retiring after 33 years in the high school music department and will be missed.

Emotions ran high at the elementary school concerts as well when music teacher Vincent Crici was recognized for his 32 years of service to the district. He is also retiring this year and will be difficult to replace.
