The Boys Varsity Basketball season was the best in Locust Valley history, with the team earning the title of County Champions.  They were the first Locust Valley boys basketball team to ever compete in the Long Island Championship game. Despite a loss against Center Moriches, they played like champions.

The Falcons traveled over to SUNY Farmingdale. After a long hard week of practice, the boys were as excited they have been all season for the game. The gym was electric with the stands packed with all LV fans decked out in green, waving green pom poms and cheering their hearts out. The Falcons put on a fantastic show, staying ahead most of the game and losing by only five points (55-50). It was a great overall season and the boys have made everybody in the community so proud. Although they wanted the Long Island Championship more than anything, it cannot be forgotten that they brought Locust Valley their first county championship in school history. This is a team that will always be remembered.

Congratulations to the players and their coaches on an incredible season of basketball!
