The LVHS AIDS Awareness Club works diligently to bring awareness of this important issue to the students and staff.  In recognition of AIDS Awareness Day on Thursday, December 1st, the group created banners, signs, and a giant red ribbon for the student population to sign.  The red ribbon is the international symbol for aids awareness. These items were all hung in the high school cafeteria, along with posters citing statistics about HIV and AIDS. Throughout the year, the club hold fundraisers, and last year donated more than $1,500 to AIDS research.

Great job!
