Day II of the New York State Qualification Track & Field Meet at North Shore High School proved to be another exciting day for the Falcons, with Locust Valley student-athletes prevailing in several events securing their ticket to compete in the State Championships next week at Cicero North Syracuse High School.

Senior Stephanie Reyes who came in first for the 400-meter hurdles on day one and also excelled in the 100-meter hurdles on day two with a time of 15.86 seconds.

Senior, first year jumper Dylan Kelly, placed first in the long jump reaching 19'-.25".

The 4x100m Relay, LV Girls Top Ranked Team of Alex Vassallo, Lindsay Abraham, Stephanie Reyes and Lily D'Addario prevailed with a first place finish in 51.38 seconds.  

Other events also had LV fans cheering as Falcons posted impressive results:

Senior Adam Cohen finished second in the Shot Put  reaching 41'-09.75".

Junior Megan Prosser finished second in the Long Jump reaching 13'-11.75".

Junior Alex Vassallo finished second in the 100-meter sprint with a time of 13.16 seconds.

Freshman Marlene Goldstein finished third in the 200-meter sprint with a time of 28.56 seconds.

Sophomore Lily D'Addario finished fourth in the 100-meter sprint with a time of 13.61 seconds.

LV's 4x400 relay team of Megan Prosser, Marlene Goldstein, Stephanie Reyes, and Roisin O'Neill finished in a close second with a time of 4:11.02.
