The first face-off won by senior John Pedranghelu set the tone for the entire semifinal game for the Falcons Lacrosse team at Hofstra University on May 25th. This win advances the Falcons to the Nassau County Class C Championship. This is the Falcons second trip to the County finals in three years.

Locust Valley's explosive firepower took an early commanding lead over rival, Oyster Bay High School. Senior Tyler Liantonio led all scorers with four goals and one assist which propelled the Falcons to continue their undefeated season of 16-0. Other strong contributors on the offensive side were underclassmen Craig Conn, Cooper Trepeta and senior Ted Mavros. Once again, the stingy Falcon defense led by senior goalies Christian Casazza and Chris Schultz along with long pole players, Francesco Anile, Reed Tansill, Tom O'Brien and Keenan Herlich helped secure the final score of Falcons 19 and the Baymen 2. The game will air on FIOS channels 1 & 501 on June 1st at 7:30 p.m.

Locust Valley will play Cold Spring Harbor in the Class C County Championship on Tuesday, May 31 at 6 p.m. at Hofstra. There will be an admission fee of $6.
