Although the day began wet, that didn't stop the community from coming together for a fantastic celebration of lacrosse.  Lacrosse Day 2016 included games played by the varsity teams, as well as the Oak Neck Lacrosse teams. Bringing all of the age groups together on the high school fields helped the lacrosse community bond and everyone had fun!

The New York Lizards raffled off the jersey of the high school’s new Head Boys Lacrosse Coach's, Keith Cromwell. Coach Cromwell wore that jersey when he played for The Lizards. Senior Patrick Fraschilla was the lucky winner.

Special thank you to Oak Neck Lacrosse, Falcon Pride Athletic Booster Club, Athletic Council, the custodial staff, New York Lizards and Maverick/Cascade who all supported the day by selling raffles and food, scheduling games and preparing the fields.  The day could not have been a success without the support of the parents!

The Oak Neck Youth boys and girls lacrosse teams got their games in despite the weather and the young Falcons did great.  The sky gave way to sun and clouds at about 1 p.m. for the high school games. The boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams both ended the day with victories.

Great job by all of the student-athletes and coaches!
