The LV Falcons lined up against the Roosevelt Rough Riders in a battle of the "undefeateds." The game was played at the perfect venue, Hofstra University, home of the Nassau County Football Championships. The game was a battle of wills. It was evident that the Falcons of LV wanted it more, as they persevered in the last minutes, orchestrating an unbelievable winning, scoring drive. The scoring drive concluded with Joe Jacobi connecting with Tom Nastasi for a 2-yard-touchdown strike with :03 remaining to break a 12-12 tie. Matt Vezza's extra point gave LV a 19-12 lead.  Jacobi was 14 for 22 on the day for 161 yards and 3 TDs.  Alex Rawa and Tom McNamara each had touchdown catches in the game.  Locust Valley (5-0) takes on West Hempstead (5-0) October 15th at Fred Smith Field at 2:00 p.m.
