LVHS sophomore Bailey Bondy is now ranked #1 in the nation by US Squash Racquet Association. The ranking is in the Girls under 17 Division.

Bailey succeeds on and off the field. Earlier this year, she was named a 2010 U.S. Squash Scholar Athlete by U.S. SQUASH, a national squash organization. The group credits Bailey’s success on the squash court and most importantly, in the classroom, as a testament to her hard work and dedication.

“It is an impressive accomplishment for a high school student to achieve such tremendous success as an athlete while maintaining equal success in academics,” said Mark J. Dantuono, Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics for Locust Valley Central School District.  “We are extremely proud of Bailey’s accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.”

Congratulations, Bailey!
