Student artists in grades 6-12 displayed their artwork in the annual District Art Show, held in the MS/HS Mini-theater and surrounding hallways. From paintings and drawings to sculptures, woodwork and photography, the display resembled that of a museum.

“There is an incredible amount of artistic talent in our schools,” said H. Thomas Hogan, District Director of Art. “Our teachers do an incredible job of helping students take that talent to the next level.”

Art teachers Thomas Camilleri, Donna Chaplin, Linda DeFeo and Melanie Mooney inspire creativity in their students, Mr. Hogan said. The four Middle School/High School art teachers organized the art show. The Culinary Club provided refreshments.

For those who could not get to the show, please take a look at the sampling of artwork in the slideshow below.
