The LVHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse team defeated #1 seed Cold Spring Harbor High School, 8-7 and earned the Nassau County Class C Championship. The team advances to the Long Island Championship against Babylon High School on Saturday May 31 at 6 p.m. at Hofstra University. There will be a $6 admission fee. 

Joe Bressingham gave Locust Valley a 7-6 lead off with an assist from Louie Jokinsky with 11:13 left in the fourth quarter in the Nassau Class C final. Owen Trepeta made it 8-6 with 7:57 remaining as Locust Valley captured the school's first ever Lacrosse Class C County Championship. Sophomore Tyler Liantonio led all scorers with three goals. Senior goalie Frank Mongiello was amazing keeping Cold Spring Harbor to only two goals in the second half. Other key defensive performances were led by seniors Sam Farren, Matt Vezza and John Piscitello. Reed Tansill also came up big on the defensive side for the Falcons.
