LVHS students used all of their creative energy to evoke emotion from the audience during the Fifth Annual Writers/Directors Monologue Showcase in January at Locust Valley High School. Performing original skits based on the theme of family, students tackled subjects revolving mostly around the loss of family members. The scripts were fictional and showed the true writing ability of these talented young men and women. Performing the very scripts they wrote, students also showed their versatility as actors.

The performance features LVHS students Emma Charno, Carly Chianese, Meagan Cooper,  Rhonda Drewes ,  Britanny Eude, Shivangi Kakar, Mei Kurakake, Stephanie Peguillan, Samantha Prosser, and Nate Szymkowicz. The show was directed by Mr. Lynch and Ms. Bolitho.

Everyone is looking forward to the Spring performance of the Writers/Directors Monologues which will be held on May 26th at 7 p.m. in the High School mini-theater.

Pelase tune in to MSG Varsity on Tuesday, February 8th at 7 p.m. to see a special segment featuring the monologues.
