LVHS seniors Joseph Bressingham, Sam Farren and Matt Vezza have all signed letters of intent to play lacrosse in college. Joseph will attend Mt. St. Mary’s College, Sam will attend Florida Southern College and Matt will play at Sacred Heart University.

Joseph earned All-County lacrosse honors in 2013 and was team captain. He also earned All-County honors in Wrestling. He was a member of the 2012 and 2013 Division II County Championship teams. Joseph is a scholar-athlete and on the honor roll. He has a positive attitude and takes pride in his work.

Sam earned 2013 All-Conference in Lacrosse, is a three-year-starter in Lacrosse and Captain of the lacrosse and football teams. He also earned 2012-2103 All-County Honors in Wrestling, while on the 2013 Division II County Championship team. Sam has been playing on the Varsity Lacrosse team since ninth grade. In addition to being a stellar athlete, Sam takes a rigorous course load, which includes IB courses and Honors Physics.

Matt earned 2013 All–County Honors in Football and All-County Honorable Mention in Lacrosse, as well as All-Conference Honors in both sports in 2012. He is also captain of both teams and a three-year starter in both sports. Matt has a reputation as being a wonderful mentor to younger students and is a strong advocate against bullying. He has challenged himself academically with IB, AP and Honors classes and is a member of the band.
