Seniors Anne Hollmuller, Konrad Matthei and Isaac Park have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students placed among the top two percent among more than 1.5 million high school seniors who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT©). Commended students can become eligible for special scholarships sponsored by a number of corporations.
Senior Anna Patterson qualified for the National Hispanic Recognition Program based on her performance on the same exam. Only 5,000 students are selected from among the 250,000 Hispanic/Latino students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and abroad who sat for this exam.
Congratulations to these talented and hard working LVHS students!
