Locust Valley High School sophomore Bailey Bondy, has been named a 2010 U.S. Squash Scholar Athlete by U.S. SQUASH, a national squash organization. The group credits Bailey’s success on the squash court and most importantly, in the classroom, as a testament to her hard work and dedication.

“It is an impressive accomplishment for a high school student to achieve such tremendous success as an athlete while maintaining equal success in academics,” said Mark J. Dantuono, Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics for Locust Valley Central School District.  “We are extremely proud of Bailey’s accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.”

Bailey’s accomplishment can be viewed on as well as in an article in the October issue of Squash Magazine.
